• PCA SAVE™ (Specialized Additional Vocabulary Extensions) Version 2.0 - Medical specialty language models
• PCA SAVE™ Customer Edition – Custom developed vocabulary derived from the collection of site specific information and local jargon (provider names, affiliated practice names, pharmacies, ambulance services, etc.)
• PCA Medimacs™ Version 3.1 - A package of voice activated commands and canned texts/dictation shortcuts for use in MEDITECH.  Users benefit by gaining quick navigation in and through MEDITECH screens and dialog boxes without having to use the keyboard or mouse.  Templates reduce the time necessary to complete reports.

Licensing

• All licensing of software is directly through PCA
• Per user (not per PC), Users can dictate on any client PC that has DNS installed.
• First year costs range from $1600 - $1200 per user based on volume.
  • (1) DNS License, (1) Year Software Maintenance, (1) Each of PCA products as above, (1) Wired Headset
  • Price breakpoints are at 20, 50, 100, 200, 500+.   Site licensing is also available.
  • Optional microphones (handheld, wireless Bluetooth) are available at extra cost
• Subsequent year cost: Software Maintenance $300-$250/user based on volume
• Implementation, User Training, and Support fees are all quoted separately.

Installation

• Dragon NaturallySpeaking must be installed on a local drive on every PC where dictation will take place. It is not a client/server application.
• Loading of the software takes approximately 10 minutes per PC.
• Installations can be "pushed" by IT staff.  An MSI script is included
• No MEDITECH parameters need to be changed to enable speech recognition except in cases where an external RTF editor is used.
